The IEFP Rio Meão continues to expand its presence within the national creative landscape through its ongoing collaboration with IMC Models Agency at The House of Fashion — a partnership that has, over time, reinforced the connection between professional training and the realities of the fashion industry.
As part of the wider network of the Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional, the Rio Meão center plays a key role in developing technical skills across multiple disciplines, including hairdressing and make-up.
Its approach combines structured education with a strong emphasis on real-world application, positioning training as an active gateway into the industry.
This dynamic becomes particularly visible through its involvement in The House of Fashion. In collaboration with IMC Models Agency, trainees are given the opportunity to engage directly with the backstage environment — an immersive space where timing, precision, and creative interpretation are essential.
Hair and make-up unfold in parallel, each element carefully constructed to serve a unified visual narrative. Complexions are refined, textures are enhanced, and details are calibrated under the intensity of backstage rhythm. What begins as technical execution evolves into creative interpretation — where every brushstroke and every finish contributes to the identity presented on the runway.
Within this context, education moves beyond the classroom. It becomes experiential, immediate, and deeply connected to the demands of contemporary fashion. Participants are not only trained — they are integrated into a live creative process, where their work directly shapes the final image.
At its core, the IEFP Rio Meão reflects a model of training that is both structured and adaptive, preparing individuals to navigate the evolving intersections between technique, employability, and creative production.
Backstage at The House of Fashion, this convergence becomes tangible. Learning meets execution, discipline meets creative flow, and emerging professionals step into a space where their skills are tested, refined, and ultimately seen.
In an industry defined by image and precision, IEFP Rio Meão does not simply train — it places talent at the center of the experience, shaping professionals ready to engage with the present and future of fashion.
